One of the most interesting things I’ve read lately I read on Perez Hilton. Who knew he wrote anything other than celebrity gossip? This juicy tidbit is about hunting wolves and it has only one familiar name involved: Sarah Palin.

If you thought that Sarah Palin was out of the news for good, or at least a few years, you will have to think again. She’s back in the spotlight with new information about her and hunting wolves. You probably remember the controversy that began when it came out that she was into aerial hunting. Well, that controversy is gaining momentum even though the election is behind us.

Now we learn that not only does she still participate in the aerial hunting of wolves, she is encouraging all other Alaskans to do it too. She is even trying to make it so that anyone who kills a wolf and brings in a severed foreleg as proof will be able to collect $150. The more they kill the more they make.

This is insanity. Hunting wolves should be illegal everywhere, it is in most places but somehow she found a loophole that makes aerial hunting permissible in Alaska.

Regardless of your opinions on Sarah Palin as a politician, or whether you are a die hard Republican or Democrat, you have to see that aerial hunting wolves is just plain wrong. These animals suffer tremendously and for a long time before they finally die. It’s sick and if you don’t believe me, see for yourself at Eye On Palin.
