If you want larger, [tag]voluptuous lips[/tag] but can’t quite figure out the lipstick to make lips look fuller, there are some tricks you can use to maximize volume. Also, certain brands of lip color will make for stand out lips that get noticed.
If you want your lips to look fuller, it’s best to stay away from dark colors: deep crimson or chocolate brown, for example. Dark colors only highlight thinner lips and they will look skinny and strange – is that really the look you’re going for? Brighter, lighter colors like coral and pink are better choice of lipstick to make [tag]lips look fuller[/tag], as well as pale nudes and peaches.
To fake fuller lips, you can use concealer or foundation to cover your natural liplines. Using a neutral lip liner, draw past your top lip line and around your normal bottom lip line. Don’t be tempted to extend the line a long ways for a dramatic effect; keep it natural.
Fill in your lips with lipliner – it should be the same color as the lipstick you are putting over top – and then follow with the right shade of lipstick to make lips look fuller. Make sure you use a long lasting foundation or concealer, as well as lipliner. You don’t want your new lips wearing off as you eat a sandwich. Bring along makeup to touch up as you need to.
[tag]Lip plumping lipsticks[/tag] and lip glosses are a great way to get fuller lips without a visit to your plastic surgeon. These products contain collagen and will temporarily swell your lips. The Lip Fusion Color Shine collection of plumping lip colors will do wonders for your pucker – at around $38 it’s a bit pricey but well worth it.
While it’s not a lipstick to make lips look a whole lot fuller, the DuWop Venom lip gloss for $18 will give you that bee-stung look, and can be worn alone or over top of any lip color.
Lip gloss is a great way to create the illusion of fuller lips. Simply put a dab on the middle of your lower lip to make lips look bigger and thicker. If you want to stick with lip color, cream and wet shine lipsticks are the best choice. L’Oreal Glam Shine Cream Lipstick goes on smoothly and stays on all day, but has a shiny look that reflects light and gives more depth to your pout.
At $11, it’s a budget drugstore find with high quality – look for colors like Gold Havana and Xtreme Brown. Mac lipsticks will add definition to your lips with conditioning cream lip color, and their new Slimishine Lipstick for $14 has a cream, pearly or metallic finish that will make your lips rock. Be more subtle with Long Stem Rose, or go bolder with Prudeaux.
